Fun one, I got a 4-off relatively quickly and then it took a few tries to get everything optimized.

(11-9-2022) Usually I don't comment on the difficulty rating, but I find this one is much more difficult than a 4. I first started with 10-20 off and was perplexed. Then still ended up with 2 off despite changing different parts. Finally to find out I tried to set up the shortcut too quickly. Looking back, this was likely too difficult for me to solve back in 2009 that's why I was unable to cast any votes for the competition at that time.

Finally got it!!! VERY NICE level. There are tons of places where you could lose a few steps.

Aha! this is an excellent level David. Very well designed, I especially appreciate how well the blocks in the middle get in the way.
