So many possibilities! Lots of fun figuring out the overall path, finding the variations in each area, and refining over time. This one is a big time investment, of course, but I don't regret it. My prediction for the final stepcount is 1006. Remind me to check in a decade to see how close I got!

(some time in June, 2023): When I first saw this level, I thought to myself: ''I will never be able to figure this one out!'', and I closed the tab. After about seven months, when meow beat manti's record, I decided to give it a try. Felt very lost, at first, didn't have a real plan, just started at the start. :D My first try ended above 1900 steps, iirc. But I was so happy just to have reached the exit. :)) Then I tried again. And again. And again. I slowly got to ''know'' the level, so I was now able to start optimizing things. There are a lot of small optimizations, some pipelining tricks, some other tricks (I haven't noticed a lot of these), some cute cuts, and some ''combinations on a bigger scale'', too, so to say. All in all, it is a very VERY interesting ''monster'', that is not such a monstrosity, after all. At least not yet. I hope it won't go lower, cause I don't think I can do this faster. It was an enjoyable process of being absorbed within a level and everything that it has to offer. Hi19 really did a great job here. Darkmanticorex was the first one to explore it and did it really well. Meowlong came, after seven months and improved for 16 steps. Seeing that, I became encourraged to try, toom and after many hours I improved for 4, though I didn't even dream of that, I was just trying in order to see, what this thing was. :)) I would recommend this level to everybody who is willing to spend some time. Reaching the exit is a very special satisfaction, here. :)) Reaching it under 1200 is also some effort, but in a good way. :)

I had an absolute blast of a weekend trying to optimize this. 1092 feels really tight to me and should be optimal or hopefully very close to it! This is such an awesome level because the step count makes this one of the longest levels in the game without it being a tedious long hole level. You are challenged throughout this monster and there are a bunch of good cuts along the way. Absolute props to Hi19 for this. Its extremely well designed and despite the 352 steps cut I don't think I've circumvented anything major.

Probably the craziest level ever constructed. Worth playing through as getting to the end is harder than most levels in the game in and of itself. Respect to Hi for what he did here; it is extremely hard to design well levels this difficult and this one is really something.
