Much harder to see the trick than it is to optimize the path but still a very good level.
Edit: This time through I found it very challenging to find a path through and then took a little while to optimize it. Very good level.
Looks like an absolute mess at the outset, and at first it's easy to block yourself in permanently. However, once I saw the main idea of the level, the optimizations were enjoyable and came quickly. 7 tries on this excellent level.

But since there are not so many options, the solution was easier to find (for me). 25 tries.
