Wow! I solved it in 2 tries! That's first time ever that I can solve a level so fast. What helped me is that a big part of the path is mandatory and the length of what remains implies a cut that can happen only at one location.
But even if I guessed the right way to do it, there seemed to be several ways to implement the idea and it took me some time to find the non-2-off ways.
