I thought the level was going to be some pattern subversion, but that was clearly not enough to get to the end. The correct path is much more aggressive. Logical, though maybe not easy to see initially.
There are some bits of the level that are cute, but this is painful to play on anything that's not a large monitor. The concept could really be presented better.
Very odd, every time I had to push something out of the way, I mentally groaned because it meant I would need to use a bunch of steps to walk around. I ended up getting the solution really quickly, but the route was very unsatisfying because it didn't feel very clean. Really thought it was going to be much more obnoxious. Fun level.
It has two very subtle tricks. In hindsight, very easy to see why one of them works, little trickier to see why the other one works. Either way, both tricks are very sneaky, design is brilliantly clean.
EDIT: I don't understand my review because I no longer understand how this level works.
Impeccable design. When people say that a level solution feels "clean", this is what they mean. It's like you're effortlessly cutting through all of the blocks in perfectly the allowed directions.
