Didn't take too long to find the new cut, but it took a good while to understand why it worked. Great find. **2022** how did I not see this on my first clear????
I loved this level each time I’ve cleared it. There’s a lot of orders and enough options to make anyone paranoid they’ve missed something on the path. To top it all off the final 2 cut is deceptive. Yfkd with the classic Yfkd 2 step saver here.
The 2 cut is such quality that it makes up for a lot of the rest of the level being pretty orderly. There’s one part that has almost 3 different ways to do it and I just wish one was faster. Would make this much better.
Oh this was really smart and tricky! Well spotted Dgriff!
It’s big, there’s a lot of holes, but this is IMO the best of the three. The path isn’t obvious, there’s a lot of small cuts sprinkled throughout and the order matters. It’s also fun enough to play despite the length. That combination will always get a 5 star from me. Did anyone notice cartman said he was going home but instead took all his blocks out of his house and stayed outside?
I think this is the easiest of the three part series. The blocks that needs to fill the holes are obvious and the cuts aren’t too hard.
Of the three I think this is the toughest. Checkerboard hole filling is always tough but rarely fun. This gets a bit of a reprieve because it’s under 10 holes. There’s a lot of cross paths and micro block management here to test even the most veteran solvers while still managing to retain some fun.
2 mirrored paths. Was hoping one of the mirrors would be a 2 off. Otherwise good level for testing block timing.
This level has everything you can ask for from a smaller pp1 level. Path choices, optimizations, compressed movement that matters. Good fun.
I love when levelmakers do that with their 2 step cuts. It’s hard to see and analyze because you’re never ready for it.
