I came back to this many many times in Pathology but the best I can do is 283 and I can't improve on 2 off.
I hope I can see how dgriff saved the step too.
I can't recall what I tried to fix at that time anymore.

(14-3-2023) I finally completed this. It is my official 4000th finish. I sighed, but also have a sense of relief.
For me, so many things have happened in the past year. I guess, now it is a good time for me to take a rest.
This wasn't as bad as I remember it being. Once I figured out a particular thing I went from not being able to get to the exit to 6 off and then had to optimize a few things.
Some neat and well hidden classic tricks in here.
