Very nice idea - funnily enough I had tried the idea that improves the 2-off in earlier inefficient paths, but didn’t realize it led to an improvement, and so couldn’t see it for a bit once I found the 2-off.

I tried this and got 2-off, then came back a few days later and got it instantly with a path I didn't think would work...very strange.
