My personal experience with this level has always been pretty unusual, compared with the rest of the community: while without a doubt it's an excellent work, and one of the most original levels ever made (I don't recall a PP1 level requiring so much preparation for the optimal path), it's a shame that it also requires SO MUCH backtracking. I also never understood why people are so scared of it; once you learn its layout, it becomes pretty clear what you have to do to clear the path. Still, in spite of all these small imperfections, the level is amazing, and I still regard its author as one of the best level makers ever for this game.
Amazing concept, flawless execution. As with many Raszlo levels, the last 2 steps elude me.
15 years later - I finally buckled down and cut those last 2 steps. 14 tries from not having seen it for a decade and a half to solved. Great optimization. The 5/5 rating stays, of course :)
