Size of the board means costly back & forth in term of moves. It told me straight that there is only one way to go. A win on first try case. 
The non used side would increase the difficulty of the level, if it would be plausible.

For me, this level is teaching an important lesson for unexperienced player: before to push a block out of your way, always question if it's a good idea or not. Maybe that later it could cost you steps. :D
