I'm a bit with @Hem. There is no trick to find here (where Ernie still had a possible 2 off) and the only "challenge" is finding the correct exit. But imho there are at least 4 exits of interest at first glance which could confuse a beginner and have them go for the wrong one at first.

A lot of non-functional space together with a single very obvious solution makes me feel as if there was hardly a challenge to overcome at all.

Short and Sweet

Very sweet, but not so short for me. Needed about 20 attempts before I was even able to reach the exit (and then be 2off). Solver's satisfaction is high!
