(sometime in August) I'm at 300 sharp, now, but giving stars cause I really enjoy this puzzle. So manyyyyy options! :))
EDIT (3 hours later): I soon got badly stuck at 280, took me several tries to find the last 2 steps. I find this solution (278) weird. 280 felt much more ''natural'', to me. :))
EDIT 2 (about a day later): Carl's 2 cut made it much harder, IMO. It's a great level, that works like a living organism: ''tricks'' for 276 are intertwined on a big scale, from my point of view.

EDIT: 9th Oct, 2023: Two months later qqwref's 2 cut brought me back here, again. In search of his 274, which took quite some time, I found the 272. I hope that's max, for this level. I sure can't do any better, atm.
