The second section wasn't intuitive to me. It's while trying to apply to 2nd section, my way to do it in 1st section, that I saw the solution. Nice one.
I was rapid at it. The "little" amount of steps vs. the "big" size of the board, with no straight moving possible... The route follows logically to me. :D
Big fun for me this one! I was 2 off and certain it's optimized, so I searched different. I then realized that something I defined irrelevant to the board before, could have a reason to be. And it was my key to go to winning!
I find the winning path counter intuitive, because it does seem longer at first.
I had 3 different ways to go, out of which one I really like but that was definitely too long and one leading me 2 off but that was definitely optimized.
So, it had to be the 3rd one. Even knowing the route, I have needed some time to put it right. Very interesting puzzle.
Strange level to me. I was rapid at it, what is always nice to me as it's rare, and I had a 2 off caused by upper section, although usually, that's configurations like bottom section that get me stuck for ages.
So hard... The amount of steps I need to leave bottom part doesn't let me enough moves to open the lock of the upper part... And I find no way to shorten... Am 10 off and will suffer LOL
One hour later: am 2 off thanks to optimizing bottom part. Let's try to find out the last 2 cut.
** 1 year later **
I came back to it now and solved it within a few tries. My 2 steps saver was in the upper part, that was a real struggle to me.
