(spoilers / discussion included) Haha. It's that "one weird trick" in another form, naturally occurring in the wild! I am struggling to generalize it into an easily explainable rule myself tbh. I think it has to do with the fact that when you leave the L block there, you have done a good job pushing it some distance, and yet you are still very close to the taco, and should take advantage of that, and when you use the taco to fill the first upper left hole, you are actually closer than you might think to the L block, because you can now approach it from the left side, which wasn't possible before. This explanation is not satisfying to me, and yet I am aware of this trick in many forms and use it regularly. Definitely the kind of thing my brain knows, but doesn't understand as a written rule. I do feel that if someone could communicate this trick in a way that people could understand, that would be a cool thing.
