Maybe if asymmetry can easily go unnoticed it's not as cool, but if it is overt and kind of unavoidably noticed it can be suave.  Like, in valycian's Clubs, it doesn't allow "which of these is faster, smh" to really get a foothold, but rather it is simply part of the level to explore both variations on the theme, and optimize them both, and it is kinda cool how they are the same but not the same.  I don't know lol.  I liked this level regardless tho.
