Cool level! It turns out I had the optimal solution for a while, I was just missing a simple 2-cut. There’s some interesting and creative manipulation needed to get to the exit though, fun to work through.

Awesome level! I didn't find the 2 off or the 4 off, so I assume my main problem was just optimizing the start. It took me a long time to just touch the exit, but the optimization wasn't too bad after!

Winning was a surprise: I was 4 off, found a 2 steps saver, went up to target to verify it had in deed saved 2 steps and... won! 0-0 3 possible explanations: 1) The 2 steps saver was a 4 steps saver that I failed to see. 2) I did a another 2 steps saver later without noticing. 3) Magic. I tend for 1) or 2). Will check later. LOL

Just great! I had THREE different variations for 218, before getting the 216. (And from the start it took me a bit to even figure, how to touch the exit, at all. :)) )
