The Night is Still Young

After 17 years back and forth, I finally solved this level. With it, I completed the medium world. I'm so happy that I'm bouncing around my chair... ROFL In my case, the 2 off wasn't due to a cut on the correct route. I was 2 off on a wrong route. And today, who knows why, I suddenly saw a new way to do it, that I had not seen before and that is - for me - totally counter intuitive. At first, I was far away with it, but bit by bit, I came 2 off again and with a few more tries, I won. So, for those stuck 2 off: it can very well be that you're on the wrong route. The correct one needs to be creative, and at start, gives the impression to create something too complicated and too long. But in fact, after optimization, it works.

Pipelining level 4

2 years ago, I gave up on this level as I was 2 off and enable to cut the last 2 steps. Today, I came back to it and solved it within a few tries. Now to be honest, I can see what I did different to save the 2 steps, but I don't understand why it's a saving. For me a case of "seems longer, is shorter".

** 2 years ago ** Like it, however, again 2 off, what makes me :( ** 2 years later ** I was afraid to retry working on this level. I had difficulties to return to 2 off. But once I was 2 off, I was sure where I can save 2 steps, so I worked there only and soon got it! I find impressive the amount of different possible arrangements in the final zone in the center, leading to 2 offs and 4 offs. I needed lot of tries until finding the unique arrangement allowing for the saver. Great level and am so happy I finally got it done.

Crawl Space

Such giant fun! I really enjoyed solving this puzzle, bit by bit, first miles away, then suddenly a massive cut for about 40 off, then a second massive cut for about 12 off off, and then a 3rd massive new cut for a straight win... I would give 6 stars if it would be possible. :D

Soft Ladder

The 2 off kept me busy for a very long time. Today, it became clear to me that the routes I try are fully optimized and will never lead me to a win. So I tried different, testing routes that seem longer at first. And that was a surprise: they led me to 2 off all the same! So they're not longer and allow for new perspectives. I carefully study one of them and was able to cut 2 steps straight on that one. Soooooooooo glad to be done.
