(7 years ago) OMG, I have great troubles with such levels: either getting stuck or spending far too many moves (over 300 tries). GREAT level!

EDIT, 2023, 20th April - Levels like this are still difficult for me. This time it took me 84 tries, all together, to break the bidirectional jungel forest. :)) Before that I was two off, for quite some time.

Loved it! Was 6 off, for a while, too.
It was good fun, to search for the 306 path. :)
Agree with sspenst, there are several parts, that can be done in more than one way and give same result, but that didn't bother me.
Sooo good! It's a nice example how what can seem longer at first sight is the key to go shorter... Real nice 2 off cut that relies on finding the correct route and not on a localized "trick". It's rare.
SO many 2-offs... Definitely follow qllmus's advice and try the unfixed version first. (titled "easy one to start off with") a lot more fun that way :)
I feel like this setup has a lot of potential but unfortunately almost none of it is used. I found at least 3 variations on each section that all lead to the same step count.
